1) Safety- Did this person take any safety courses? Every day we see new companies set up with small tent stakes and we have seen jump houses take flight. There is a lot to know about safety and its not cheap to take these courses.
2) Insurance- If there is an accident, who's covering this? Your insurance? Your homeowners more than likely will not cover this. Make sure the company is covered. Ask to see the policy and make sure it covers INFLATABLES. Remember, in the state of California, you can lose your house from this!! Most insurance policies that involves Inflatables start at $25,000. How many times does the jump have to go out to to cover this policy? We have many jumps, so we have what it takes to cover this policy.
3) Cleaning of the Games- Takes about 1-2 hours the next day to do this for each game. We have to keep them set up for a while. If you roll the game up wet, you will get mildew. If you see black or blue spots on some ones jumper, IT IS NOT DIRT! It is mildew. This is from getting the game wet and not properly drying the game.
4) Purchasing Safe Games- All of our games are purchased for high quality. They are not cheap jumpers that can fall apart on you during your event.
5) Licensed Products- This one is huge! The costs of using licensed products costs a lot of money! Did you know if you rent a Sponge Bob, Spiderman, Disney, Dora, or any other character, the licensor can bring you in for legal proceedings? Well, you do now. It's your responsibility to make sure the game you are renting is licensed. All the licensing companies are filing suit with all the Inflatable companies and subpoenaing their records. Don't get caught in that legal fight. This will cost you big $$ to fight. Is it worth it?
6) Gas and Travel- This is expensive now. Gas goes up every day.
7) Uniforms- We all have the same uniform so your guest know who we are.
With all this being said, can a jump house company bring out a jumper for $85 and not cut some of these corners? We know the cost of doing business and it is not $85. It is a lot more. So if you think we are a little more expensive than the competition, look at the costs of doing business the "right way". We will not cut corners so you will be comfortable to know we pay close attention to details. We are the BEST in this business. If you don't care about cutting corners and you want the cheapest price, then we are not the right company for you.
